Harbor Freight Chain Sharpener | WoodBarter

Aug 18, 2015·My biggest complaint about harbor freight (concerning this particular tool) is that they don't offer a grinding wheel for 3/8 and .404 chain… and I'd guess that the majority of saws are running 3/8 chain. The wheel that comes with it works fine for .325 and 3/8 low pro though. I'm still trying to find a way to keep the pivot point from wobbling.

Review: Harbor Freight Dado set - by MrRon @ LumberJocks ...

Dec 16, 2013·The HF set is 8” and cuts dados up to 7/8”. The teeth are C2 carbide and number 22 teeth. I was impressed by the size of the carbide. They look like they could be resharpened many times. Setup was the same as with any other dado set. The blades and chippers fit very snugly on my saw arbor. In use, it cut flat bottom grooves with a little ...

Masterforce 6-1/2″ Track Saw Review – Grain & Grain by Dave

Mar 30, 2021·A cheap Harbor Freight tool will have a stiff, plasticky cord that’s hard to wind and will tug on you while using it. In more expensive tools the manufacturer is willing to spend the extra cents on a better cord. This cord is nice on this saw. My main complaint about the saw is that it won’t accept thin-kerf blades. Sliding miter saw from Harbor Freight? | Survivalist Forum

Aug 26, 2015·Amanas are nice but you'll get the same use out of a Diablo. I've got probably 20-30 diablo blades for my chop saws, table saws. and skill saws. I had a contract with a sharpening company, and rarely had to replace them. I used a 60 tooth for the table and chop saws, I believe, and 40 tooth for my skill saws.

Choosing The Right Saw Blade For Your Project

Nov 16, 2018·A blade with high positive hook angle (say, 20°) will yield a very aggressive cut and a fast feed rate. A blade for ripping lumber on a table saw will generally have a high hook angle, where an aggressive, fast cut ...

If youre looking for budget blades, ive used and likes some of the crosscut and rip blades from craftsman and irwin. $20 range and the cuts are pretty good.
