Mar 29, 2011·I have cut 2" thick 6061-T6 with a 10" table saw using a 60 tooth heavy carbide wood blade. It works pretty well if the feed is a slow enough. Push it too fast cutting dry and aluminum clogs up in the gullets and causes a bind tending to kick back. It would work better with a little coolant which would allow a faster cut.
